About

Gilot is one of the three scents in IIUVO's first collection, Edition One, developed with Robertet. It is named for Françoise Gilot, whose Mediterranean image inspired the house to explore an aquatic feel. Grapefruit, bergamot and freesia give the opening a bright citrus-floral character. Neroli, bitter almond and nutmeg bring an aromatic, gently spicy centre. Musk and moss make the base earthy and soft, while white marshmallow adds a creamy sweetness. The result sits between citrus, floral and gourmand. The small wearer sample points to moderate longevity and close projection. Spring leads the seasonal votes, with summer next; no one selected autumn or winter. The available votes favour daytime wear, including the office, and lean slightly unisex.
