Origin

Neroli is steam-distilled from the fresh blossoms of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium), primarily cultivated in Mediterranean regions such as Tunisia, Morocco, and Italy. The extraction process yields a pale, volatile essential oil distinct from orange blossom absolute, which is solvent-extracted from the same flowers.

Usage in Perfumery
