Inspired Perfumes' 661 is a perfume oil built around the same warm oriental structure that made Dolce & Gabbana's The One for Men a modern classic: a spiced citrus opening giving way to a tobacco-amber base. The coriander, basil and grapefruit top is louder and more citrus-forward here than on the designer original, which leans on a more polished, blended fruitiness. Ginger, orange blossom and cardamom carry the heart, adding a soft spiced warmth before the amber, cedar and tobacco base settles in. As an oil, it renders flatter and closer to the skin than the alcohol-based original, with noticeably shorter longevity and a narrower projection radius, so expect a couple of hours of a rich, confident amber-spice character rather than the all-day sillage of the designer version.
