The composition lands on a rich amber-vanilla base rounded out with tonka bean, coconut, sandalwood, benzoin, leather, musk and oakmoss - a broader, sweeter finish than Chanel's original, which favours a cleaner, more classic ambery-woody balance. The coconut and peach notes especially push this dupe toward a sweeter, slightly more casual character than the sophisticated original Allure Homme, though the overall citrus-to-amber arc is well preserved. Performance is respectable for the price, if a touch less refined in blending than the designer version.
