Jubilee Scents CO229 Tribe is an Eau de Parfum. CO229 Tribe opens with Green, Bergamot, Lemon, and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Cyclamen, Rose, Jasmine, and Lily Of The Valley, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Sandalwood. Jubilee Scents's CO229 Tribe carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

CO229 revives the fruity-floral 90s charm of Coty's Tribe with a fair raspberry-apple opening, but the woody-musk base is noticeably thinner than the original's warmer, mossier finish.

About

Coty's Tribe was a nostalgic 90s fruity floral, opening on raspberry and apple over a cyclamen and rose heart, with a mossy, woody musk base that gave it a bit more grounding than most fruity florals of its era. CO229 follows suit: raspberry, apple, green notes, peach, mandarin orange, bergamot and lemon up top, cyclamen, rose, jasmine and lily of the valley in the heart, musk, oakmoss, cedar, amber and sandalwood below. The fruity opening is a pleasant, close match and brings back that easy, youthful 90s character well. The original's oakmoss-cedar base gave it a touch more depth and staying power than most of its contemporaries, and that's where this version simplifies, settling into a lighter, more generic musk sooner than expected. A nostalgic, wearable everyday fruity floral, if not a long-lasting one.
