Givenchy Play For Her Intense builds on the softer original with a peach and pink pepper opening, a white floral heart of orchid, tiare and magnolia, and a rich tonka bean and benzoin amber base that gives it real depth and staying power. GI221 keeps the same shape: pink pepper, peach and orange blossom up top, orchid, tiare flower, magnolia and amyris in the heart, tonka bean, benzoin, patchouli and sandalwood underneath. The peachy floral opening is a fair match and reads pleasantly close for the first stretch of wear. The original's amber base is noticeably denser and creamier, giving it hours of warm sillage, while this version's tonka-benzoin drydown is thinner and fades to a light sweetness sooner. A reasonable everyday alternative for the floral-amber idea, though it won't match the original's evening-long presence.
