Jubilee Scents Halfeti is an Eau de Parfum. Halfeti opens with Bergamot, Grapefruit, Cypress, and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, and Nutmeg, and dries down to a base of Musk, Leather, Cedar, and Sandalwood. Jubilee Scents's Halfeti carries a Statement verdict, a rose-led wear.

The rose-oud pairing that made Halfeti so distinctive is recognisable in this dupe, though the saffron-spiced opening is milder and the agarwood-leather base loses much of Penhaligon's smoky depth after the first hour.

About

Penhaligon's Halfeti built its reputation on a striking rose and agarwood combination spiced with saffron and cardamom, and Jubilee's dupe goes after that same rich, Middle Eastern-inflected profile. The cypress leaf and saffron opening is present but softer, without the original's sharp, resinous bite. The rose heart is the strongest part of the dupe, coming through warm and true to Penhaligon's Turkish-rose character. The agarwood, leather and cedar base is recognisable in outline but thinner than the original's dense, smoky depth, and the whole composition settles down to a soft sweet-woody finish rather than sustaining Halfeti's slow-burning richness.
