Jubilee Scents JPG82 - Scandal is an Eau de Parfum. JPG82 - Scandal opens with Blood Orange and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Gardenia, and Honey, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Licorice, Beeswax, and Caramel. Jubilee Scents's JPG82 - Scandal carries a Statement verdict, a honey-led wear.

Gets the honeyed gardenia-patchouli signature of JPG Scandal broadly right, but the caramel-honey base is noticeably less syrupy and the whole thing sits quieter than the loud original.

About

JPG82 is Jubilee's take on Jean Paul Gaultier's Scandal, one of the most distinctive honeyed gourmands on the market. Blood orange and mandarin open into a gardenia, orange blossom and honey heart, settling into beeswax, caramel and patchouli. The honey-gourmand idea is there and recognisable within seconds, but Scandal's real strength is its thick, almost syrupy sillage, and this version simply doesn't project or last the same way. A decent way to test whether the honeyed-patchouli style suits you before buying the original at full price.
