PD184 leads with neroli, black pepper, cardamom and carrot seeds - a fresh, faintly spicy start before the fragrance settles into its real identity: a soft, powdery iris heart lifted with violet, geranium and mate. That iris-forward accord is what makes Prada's L'Homme distinctive among modern men's fragrances, and this dupe keeps it front and centre, though rendered a touch flatter and less nuanced than the original's carefully blended orris. The base of amber, cedar, patchouli and sandalwood is warm and understated rather than heavy, closing the scent out gently. Compared with the designer original, this version's opening spices come through a little brighter and less refined, and the drydown fades to skin scent sooner.
