SYL115 Black Opium Extreme

Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium Extreme intensifies the original Black Opium's coffee gourmand with a richer, more concentrated cacao and bourbon vanilla base, wrapped around a jasmine sambac and orange blossom heart for a dark, seductive drydown. SYL115 follows the same idea: coffee and cacao up top, jasmine sambac and orange blossom in the heart, bourbon vanilla and patchouli underneath. The coffee-cacao opening is rich and satisfyingly close to the original's signature gourmand punch. The original's real strength is its dense, syrupy vanilla-patchouli base that keeps building for hours; this version's base is lighter and less viscous, fading to a simpler sweet vanilla sooner than the true Extreme. A strong option for testing the coffee-gourmand concept on a budget, though reapplication will be needed for an all-nighter.
