XO Khloé Hair Mist

This is the mist companion to XO Khloé, Khloé Kardashian's first solo fragrance, and it carries the same composition rather than a reduced one. The brand publishes the full pyramid for it: crystallised rose petals, lavender and sage blossom on top, orange blossom water, praline and juicy peach through the middle, and moss, tonka bean, soft woods and musk in the drydown. The opening is the interesting part. Lavender and sage give a herbal, faintly aromatic lift that most celebrity florals would not bother with, and it stops the rose from arriving as a sweet cliché. The heart is where the fragrance settles into its actual identity: praline and peach make it a gourmand floral, warm and edible without tipping into dessert, with orange blossom water adding a clean, slightly soapy brightness on top. The base is soft rather than heavy, musk and tonka doing most of the work with moss and light woods underneath. Applied to hair the scent behaves differently to skin: it releases in movement, lasts several hours and does not project, so it functions as a finishing layer over the Eau de Parfum or as a very light standalone. Autumn through spring, and casual or evening rather than formal.
