Les Liquides Imaginaires Tellus is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2015, created by Nadège Le Garlantezec. Les Liquides Imaginaires's Tellus carries an Acquired verdict, a woody-led wear.

Divisive and unapologetically dark, Tellus is a deep dive into an earthy, gothic landscape. It's an olfactory journey for the bold, not a crowd-pleaser, so definitely sample first.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall

An autumn-weather scent at heart - warm leaves and shorter days territory.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Casual

Its moderate performance keeps it from being overwhelming, but the distinct, challenging earthiness makes it less suitable for formal or office settings. It's best for casual wear or dates where a bold, unique statement is desired, as many find it too 'gothic' for everyday public wear.

Declarable allergens

We derive these from the materials behind this fragrance's notes, not from the bottle. Each one is likely, not confirmed. The list is partial - the box can name others.

In standard patch-test panels

  • Oakmoss Evernia prunastri extract from Moss

The large name is the everyday one. The small name is the INCI form on the box, so you can compare the two. Reactions differ between people. A patch-test panel is not a ranking of risk. How we derive this

About

Tellus opens with a potent blast of damp, earthy soil, immediately evoking a rain-soaked forest floor. This rich, almost fungal earthiness is swiftly joined by coniferous fir balsam and the distinctive, slightly musky edge of patchouli, creating a dark and introspective atmosphere. As it settles, hints of lily add a fleeting, ghostly floral touch, while cashmeran and labdanum provide a soft, resinous depth, grounding the composition in a mysterious, ancient wood.
