Lubin Bluff is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2009, created by Thomas Fontaine. Bluff opens with Bergamot, Lime, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg, settles into a heart of Iris, Clary Sage, and Brazil Nut, and dries down to a base of Cedar, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Patchouli. Lubin's Bluff carries a Statement verdict, a fresh spicy-led wear.

This one's a bit of a mixed bag. Some absolutely adore its unique citrus-vetiver blend, while others are left wanting more in terms of performance and some find it just doesn't work on their skin. A love-it-or-leave-it affair.

Best For:
Spring

A spring fragrance - light, bright, made for the warmer turn of the year.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Office Date

Its fresh, energetic, and woody profile makes it versatile for casual and office wear, though its moderate longevity means it won't overpower. It's too light for formal events and not quite robust enough for sport.

About

Bluff kicks off with an invigorating spritz of sharp lime and bergamot, spiced up by a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. As it develops, a cool, powdery iris emerges, softening the edges and creating a sophisticated contrast. The drydown reveals a woody warmth of vetiver, sandalwood, and cedar, grounded by earthy patchouli and a whisper of creamy vanilla, creating an intriguing, fresh-woody aroma.
