Marks & Spencer Studio Mineral Tide is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2026. Studio Mineral Tide opens with Aquatic and Pepper, settles into a heart of Salt and Sandalwood, and dries down to a base of Driftwood, Amber, and Vetiver. Marks & Spencer's Studio Mineral Tide carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

A woody marine scent: black pepper, sandalwood and sea salt over driftwood, vetiver and amber. Dry, textured and warm rather than sweet, though few independent reviews exist yet.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Summer
Also Works:
Fall

Marine freshness and pepper keep it lively in warm weather, while the woods and amber give it enough body for cooler autumn days. It is too dry and light for deep winter.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Office Casual
Also Works:
Date Formal

A dry, woody-marine profile is clean enough for work and easy for casual wear. It is not sweet or seductive enough to lead on a date.

About

Mineral Tide smells like a cold walk along a rocky shore in a chunky knit. Black pepper opens it with a dry, bright sparkle, with a clean marine freshness behind it. The heart is built around sandalwood, smooth and creamy, with a sea salt accent that adds a mineral, slightly dry saltiness without turning sweet or watery. Vetiver and driftwood stand in the base, earthy, smoky and sun-bleached, and amber warms the whole thing and rounds off the edges. It is woody marine rather than aquatic. The pepper keeps it lively, the woods give it body, and the amber stops it feeling cold. The idea behind it is a fisherman's knit: textured, cosy and outdoorsy. Wear reports are scarce so far, because the scent only launched in autumn 2026 with the men's part of the Studio range. The one wear report found so far calls the men's range premium-smelling and wearable by anyone, with staying power that varies by scent and skin. Treat the performance as moderate until more people have worn it. It works across spring, summer and early autumn, at the office or at the weekend. It is vegan, cruelty free and priced very low for 100 ml, a straightforward pick for anyone who wants a woody sea scent rather than a sweet one.
