Inspired by Olympea is Match Fragrances' budget reading of Paco Rabanne's 2015 Olympea, the Loc Dong, Beatrice Piquet and Dominique Ropion salt-vanilla-ambergris composition that became Rabanne's modern feminine flagship. Match's pyramid mirrors the original community pyramid: green mandarin, water jasmine and ginger flower on top, a salt-vanilla heart, and an ambergris-cashmere wood-sandalwood base. The first hour is the strongest match: green mandarin lifts with water jasmine adding the watery-floral edge and ginger flower a soft warm crackle, and the trademark salty-sweet-floral impression arriving within minutes. By the heart the signature salt note comes forward over a vanilla bed - a salty-vanilla pairing that defines Olympea's signature.
