About

Hymn for You is a soft, sweet and powdery floral with a dessert-like base. It is easy to describe: flowers and almond first, then fruit, then caramel and vanilla. Almond and ambrette open it. The almond is marzipan-like and gentle, while ambrette adds a warm, slightly musky seed note. There is no sharp citrus here, just a smooth, quiet start. The heart is crowded and pretty. Tuberose is the strongest flower, creamy and rich, with peony and freesia adding fresh petals. Orris brings a powdery, lipstick softness, heliotropine adds a cherry-almond sweetness, raspberry gives a juicy pink note and hedione keeps the whole bouquet light and airy. The base is sugary and warm. Caramel, vanilla and tonka bean make a sticky-sweet cushion, and lactone and musk smooth it into a milky, skin-like finish. As an extrait it wears softly but stays for many hours. It suits spring, evenings out and relaxed days when something sweet and comforting is wanted. It can be worn by anyone.
