About

Jupiter Diamond is all about white flowers, shown at full volume. It is rich, creamy and glossy, with a cool green edge that stops it feeling heavy. The top is fresh and a little fruity. Bergamot gives a clean sparkle, melon adds a juicy, watery sweetness and eucalyptus brings a cool, camphor-like breath of air. This opening is brief but it sets the tone, bright and airy. Then the flowers arrive. Tuberose absolute is the star: thick, creamy and slightly rubbery. Jasmine and orange blossom absolute add warmth and sweetness, and ylang ylang rounds the bouquet. Salicylates, listed as a note, lend a sunlit, slightly sun-lotion shimmer. The dry-down is smooth. Coconut adds a soft, milky glow and white musks give a clean, skin-like finish. As an extrait, the flowers last a long time and project well. It suits anyone who wants a statement floral, in spring and summer evenings, at weddings and on warm holidays. Oakcha no longer sells Jupiter Diamond (its page has been removed from oakcha.com), and this page records it for owners.
