Penhaligon's 2005 Edp
Ellenisia
Penhaligon's Ellenisia is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2005, created by Steve DeMercado. The fragrance opens with Mandarin and Violet Leaf, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Gardenia, and Tuberose, and dries down to a base of Vanilla and Plum.
Our verdict on Ellenisia: Favourite
Ellenisia is a divisive white floral that's sadly discontinued, leaving fans heartbroken and detractors pondering its 'posh loo' vibes. It's either a beautiful, delicate bouquet or an overwhelming, soapy nightmare, with very little middle ground. You'll either adore its classic charm or recoil from its perceived old-fashioned intensity.

Best Seasons
A warm-weather pick - at its best in spring and summer.
Best Occasions
Its moderate projection and generally soft sillage make it suitable for office wear, provided one doesn't overspray. The elegant white floral and fruity notes lend themselves well to formal events and romantic dates, while its 'classic' feel might be a bit much for casual, everyday wear or sporty activities.
