Bloom Affection

Bloom Affection opens soft and almondy, heliotrope lending a powdery sweetness lifted by a touch of bergamot, much like the delicate start of Amouage Blossom Love. The heart is all about cherry blossom - pretty, dewy and feminine - cushioned by rose and a creamy ylang-ylang. As it dries, suede, vanilla, tonka and a quiet amber build a warm, powdery finish with a gourmand softness. The original is famous for its enormous longevity and refined depth; this Perfume Parlour interpretation reads flatter and lighter, with the cherry-blossom-and-vanilla accord landing prettily but fading sooner and projecting closer to the skin.
