Combination opens with a bright bouquet of lily of the valley, rose, orchid, lily and peony - the luminous floral signature that defines Calvin Klein's Contradiction. The heart introduces the original's clever twist: cool, green eucalyptus playing against sweet lilac, jasmine and juicy blackberry, before a warm base of musk, tonka and sandalwood grounds it. Against the original the budget take softens the contrast - the eucalyptus is less metallic and the florals slightly more generic - and sillage stays close to the skin, much like the quiet original. It remains an elegant, modern floral-woody musk for spring and autumn, comfortable at the office, on dates and for everyday wear.
