Crystal Radiance

Crystal Radiance is Perfume Parlour's take on Matiere Premiere's Crystal Saffron, a minimalist modern saffron. It opens with a clean, airy musk threaded with dry, slightly leathery saffron, then the saffron turns smokier and a touch sweeter as a big ambroxan-and-incense base swells beneath it. The original is celebrated for monstrous projection and extraordinary longevity built on a heavy dose of ambroxan; this budget version captures the cool-meets-warm saffron-musk character and the ambery glow, but renders it flatter and noticeably weaker, so the saffron sits softer and the ambroxan thrum is more polite. A versatile, genderless skin scent for daytime and evening that delivers the Crystal Saffron mood without the niche price or the room-filling power.
