The heart is all oud, deep and woody but never too animalic, before a base of musk and earthy patchouli grounds it. The original is famous for its emperor-grade richness and a projection that can fill a room for hours; this Perfume Parlour version captures the saffron-oud accord recognisably but renders it far closer to the skin and flatter, with the spice forward and the dense agarwood depth thinned out. Where the original is nuclear, this stays moderate in projection and middle-band in longevity. A bold, masculine-leaning woody-spicy oud best worn in cooler months for evenings and dressy occasions.
