Underneath, sweet vanilla, earthy patchouli, ambroxan and white musk build the modern fruity-chypre base that anchors the original. Inspired by YSL Mon Paris, this Perfume Parlour version captures the berry-and-jasmine signature and the cedar-patchouli warmth, but renders it flatter and skin-closer - the hyper-luminous, sophisticated architecture of the original is softened, with the sweet fruit pushed forward and the costlier chypre nuances dialled back. The result is an approachable, romantic fruity-floral that nails the vibe of Mon Paris for a fraction of the price, trading some of its luminous projection for cosy wearability.
