Initio Narcotic Delight is a dark, sexy gourmand - a syrupy cherry dipped in boozy cognac, peppered up top and laid over smoky tobacco and rich vanilla, evoking a late-night, nightclub mood. Narcotic Bliss recreates that intoxicating signature. It opens on a juicy, almost liqueur-like cherry sharpened with pink and black pepper, then turns boozy through cognac and a touch of luminous hedione, before settling into a smoky tobacco and creamy vanilla base. Perfume Parlour captures the cherry-cognac duo well, but its version reads sweeter and more candied, with a slightly synthetic edge that misses the original's smoother, classier execution, and the smoky tobacco depth is lighter. Longevity is good for a budget scent though it trails the Initio's 8-to-12 hours. A sensual, mysterious boozy-cherry gourmand for cold-weather evenings and dates.
