Noire Extract opens on a soft, milky rice note before settling into the recognisable Nuit Blanche heart of creamy coffee and orange blossom. The base turns sweet and comforting with white musk, sandalwood and a generous wash of vanilla, evoking the toffee-nut-latte character that made Nuit Blanche the sweetest and most approachable of the Black Opium range. With the original now discontinued, this Perfume Parlour interpretation is a welcome revival - though it renders the composition more two-dimensional, with the sweet coffee-vanilla pushed forward while the sandalwood-musk base sits thinner and fades faster to the skin. Soft and office-friendly, it is a cosy cool-weather choice for daily wear and dates, delivering the Nuit Blanche mood at a budget price.
