Issey Miyake Le Sel d'Issey is a clean, energising woody-aquatic that captures the power of salt - a salty, spicy sea-and-ginger opening that gives way to a seaweed-tinged heart before vetiver and cedar take over the drydown. Oceanic Drift follows that arc closely. It opens crisp and invigorating with sea salt and a spicy ginger lift, then turns marine and earthy through seaweed and a slightly smoky vetiver. The base grounds it in cedarwood and oakmoss for a refined, salty-woody finish. Perfume Parlour keeps the salt-and-ginger signature intact but renders the brine a touch lighter and more transparent, and the woods feel less polished than the original, so it loses a little of the Issey's depth and projects with less authority.
