Padrino Noir

Perfume Parlour Padrino Noir is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2025. Padrino Noir opens with Blackcurrant, Rum, Amaretto, and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Patchouli, Amber, and Sandalwood, and dries down to a base of Vanilla, Benzoin, and Labdanum. Perfume Parlour's Padrino Noir carries a Favourite verdict, a amber-led wear.

Perfume Parlour's budget read of Sospiro Il Padrino, the boozy amber-vanilla in the Khamrah lineage. It nails the rum-and-amaretto opening over a warm amber-vanilla-resin base, though it reads a shade sweeter and simpler and wears lighter than the long-lasting niche original.

About

Padrino Noir follows Sospiro Il Padrino: a bold, boozy opening of rum and amaretto with tart black currant and a flash of bergamot, vibrant rather than syrupy. The heart smooths into amber, patchouli and sandalwood, building a warm, confident aura, before the drydown turns rich and cosy with vanilla, Siam benzoin and labdanum. It sits in the popular boozy-amber-gourmand family alongside Khamrah and Initio. Against the niche original, the PP take keeps the liqueur-and-amber idea intact but leans a touch sweeter and renders the resinous, layered drydown a little flatter and more linear. Il Padrino was a strong performer; this dupe holds reasonably for a budget oil but projects more modestly and fades sooner. A warm, sweet, confident scent for cold-weather evenings and dates.
