Second Reaction opens warm and boozy, with cinnamon and rum giving the same spiced-liqueur kick that defines Initio's Side Effect. The heart settles into rich tobacco brushed with a touch of saffron before a sweet base of vanilla and sandalwood brings the cosy, gourmand drydown. Against the original the budget take is simpler and flatter - it skips the sharp, transparent hedione that fills the first hours of the Initio and sits closer to the skin with gentler projection.
