Sterling Reflection For Men

Perfume Parlour Sterling Reflection For Men is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2005. Sterling Reflection For Men opens with Bitter Orange, Cedar, and Coriander, settles into a heart of Clove, Saffron, and Patchouli, and dries down to a base of Cinnamon, Benzoin, Amber, and Oakmoss. Perfume Parlour's Sterling Reflection For Men carries a Statement verdict, a warm spicy-led wear.

Perfume Parlour's budget read of Davidoff Silver Shadow, the warm orange-and-saffron spicy oriental. It captures the creamy citrus-saffron opening and cosy amber-spice drydown convincingly, though it reads a touch sweeter and simpler and projects more modestly than the smooth original.

About

Sterling Reflection follows Davidoff Silver Shadow: a creamy opening of bitter orange with spicy coriander and a flick of Virginia cedar, sweet and inviting. The heart turns warm and a little mysterious - hot saffron and clove woven through patchouli - before the drydown settles into the addictive part: amber, benzoin and cinnamon over a soft oakmoss base, smooth and resinous. Against the original, the PP take keeps that orange-and-woods DNA intact but leans a shade sweeter up top and renders the spice-and-resin drydown simpler and more linear, losing a little of the seamless depth. Silver Shadow was a smooth, intimate 7-8 hour wear, and this dupe is similar in spirit - close projection, a few hours of cosy spice. A warm, sweet, snuggly spicy-oriental for cold-weather evenings and dates.
