A gentle base of tonka bean and Virginian cedar lends a comforting, lightly sweet woody finish. Where the original Vanitas - especially in EDP - feels polished and radiant with real staying power, this budget version reads a touch flatter and simpler, the tiare slightly less creamy and the development more linear. Projection is soft and longevity is modest at four to six hours, in line with the lighter EDT but short of the EDP.
