Perfume Parlour Triumphant is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2022. Triumphant opens with Leather, Cardamom, and Tobacco, and dries down to a base of Oud, Oakmoss, and Ambergris. Perfume Parlour's Triumphant carries a Statement verdict, a leather-led wear.

A budget take on Tiziana Terenzi's Vittoriale, Triumphant rebuilds the dominant fine-leather opening, dry tobacco and the inky oud-and-ambergris base. It captures the dark, masculine leather-oud character though the animalic depth and extrait longevity read tamer than the original.

About

Triumphant opens on a dominant fine leather - supple and dry, accented by smoky tobacco and a whisper of cardamom, the same distinctive leather signature that sets Tiziana Terenzi's Vittoriale apart from the usual Tuscan Leather comparisons. As it develops the oud moves to the forefront: a rich Cambodian-and-Indian oud, woody and minimally animalic, underpinned by salty ambergris and earthy oakmoss for a dark, amber-woody depth. The original is an extrait famous for its strong projection, near-endless longevity and a faintly sweaty-skin sensuality; this Perfume Parlour version follows the same leather-to-oud arc but renders the leather a touch cleaner and the oud less animalic, with the resinous-mossy base flatter and the staying power well short of the extrait. Projection is moderate to strong at first before settling closer to the skin. Bold, sophisticated and unmistakably masculine, it suits cold-weather evenings and formal occasions, delivering the dark leather-oud drama of a pricey niche extrait at budget cost.
