Wind Leather

Wind Leather opens crisp and aromatic - bergamot, petitgrain and clary sage giving an airy, outdoorsy lift much like the fougere-leaning start of Les Liquides Imaginaires Buveur De Vent. The middle turns dry and green with cypress, juniper and tarragon, painting a rugged, herbaceous picture. The base settles into soft leather, cedar, oakmoss, labdanum and sandalwood for a grounded woody finish. Where the original wears as a dense, smoky-leathery aromatic with creamy moss and real depth, this dupe stays brighter and more transparent, the leather cleaner and the moss less resinous. Longevity is decent but trimmed against the niche version's 6-to-10-hour staying power, and projection sits closer to the body. A versatile dry-woods scent for autumn and spring, comfortable from the office through to casual evenings.
