270 HA opens on the same saffron and cardamom warmth that leads into Penhaligon's Halfeti, and the Bulgarian rose and nutmeg heart tracks the original's opulent, jewel-toned character closely. This dupe adds more layers than most in the range, artemisia, bergamot and grapefruit joining the top, jasmine in the heart, and a base that stacks oud, leather, cedar, sandalwood, amber, tonka bean, vanilla and musk together for a considerably fuller, more maximalist finish than Penhaligon's more restrained, precisely-blended original. The core saffron-rose-oud identity that makes Halfeti so recognisable is faithfully represented, this version simply builds it out with more supporting notes, resulting in a richer, heavier rendition of the same luxurious woody-floral-amber character.
