Pierre Guillaume Paris Musc Maori 04 is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2005, created by Pierre Guillaume. Musc Maori 04 opens with Bergamot, settles into a heart of Coffee Blossom, Cacao Pod, Woody, and Floral, and dries down to a base of Musk and Amber. Pierre Guillaume Paris's Musc Maori 04 carries a Statement verdict, a cacao-led wear.

This one's a proper wild card. Some reckon it's a gourmet chocolate dream, while others are baffled by sour notes and poor performance. Definitely a 'try before you buy' situation, but on the right skin, it hits different.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in autumn and winter.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Casual

Its gourmand nature and moderate sillage make it a good fit for dates or casual wear, where its sweetness can charm rather than overwhelm. It's too unique and potentially polarising for formal events or the office, and certainly not suitable for sport.

About

Musc Maori opens with a rich, almost edible cacao note, like a fine milk chocolate bar with a hint of something deeper. Floral whispers and an underpinning of warm, musky vanilla soon emerge, softened by tonka bean, creating a creamy, slightly powdery texture. The coffee blossom adds a touch of green freshness, preventing it from becoming cloyingly sweet, while amber rounds out the base with subtle warmth.
