Pinrose Merry Maker is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2014, created by Christelle Laprade. Merry Maker opens with Nectarine, Grapefruit, and Blackcurrant, settles into a heart of Rose, Violet, and Plum, and dries down to a base of Musk, Tonka Bean, and Moss. Pinrose's Merry Maker carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Merry Maker is divisive; some find it a delightful, cheerful summer scent, while others are baffled by its popularity, calling it cheap, generic, and even chemical. Expect a fruity-musky skin scent that quickly fades, leaving many underwhelmed.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Best Seasons

Best For:
Summer
Also Works:
Spring

A warm-weather pick - at its best in summer and spring.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Office Casual
Also Works:
Sport

Its intimate sillage and moderate longevity make it suitable for close-quarters like the office, as it's unlikely to offend. The clean, fresh, and light nature also lends itself well to casual daytime wear, though its lack of projection limits its impact for dates or formal events.

About

Opens with a bright, juicy splash of nectarine and grapefruit, underpinned by a subtle tartness from blackcurrant. As it settles, a gentle floral heart of rose and violet emerges, softened by a hint of plum. The base quickly takes over, a clean musk intertwined with an earthy moss and a touch of creamy tonka bean, resulting in a soft, understated finish.
