Rebel Aromas Renegade is an Eau de Parfum. Renegade opens with Violet Leaf and Lemon Verbena, settles into a heart of Iris and Violet, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood and Ambergris. Rebel Aromas's Renegade carries an Acquired verdict, a green-led wear.

Renegade takes on Creed's Green Irish Tweed, chasing its famous lemon-verbena-and-iris freshness with a softer, less powdery rendition. The green citrus opening is recognisable, but the sandalwood-ambergris base lacks the original's soapy, almost cologne-like sheen, and it fades noticeably faster than Green Irish Tweed's steady, understated performance.

About

Renegade is Rebel Aromas' version of Creed's Green Irish Tweed, a modern classic prized for its clean lemon-verbena top, powdery iris-violet heart and soft sandalwood-ambergris base that reads as effortlessly polished rather than showy. Renegade opens on a similar lemon-verbena and green leafy accord, capturing the citrus-fresh character reasonably well. The iris-violet heart follows the original's blueprint but comes across thinner and less powdery, missing some of the soft floral nuance that makes Green Irish Tweed so distinctive. The sandalwood-ambergris base is pleasant but lighter, settling into a simple clean musk within a couple of hours rather than the slow, understated fade the original is known for. A fair everyday citrus-woody option at a fraction of the price, though it can't match the original's refined, almost effortless polish.
