8th Wonder

Rogue Perfumes 8th Wonder is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2023. 8th Wonder opens with Pineapple, Grapefruit, and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Cedar, Patchouli, and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Oakmoss and Woody. Rogue Perfumes's 8th Wonder carries a Favourite verdict, a woody-led wear.

A handmade UK interpretation of Nishane Hacivat that keeps the pineapple-grapefruit opening and oakmoss-cedar chypre dry-down of the original, with a slightly more restrained sillage than the niche reference.

About

8th Wonder is the Rogue Perfumes reading of Nishane Hacivat from its Dubai Collection Exclusive line, opening with the pineapple and grapefruit pairing that defines the original's first impression. Bergamot brightens the top and the pineapple reads exotic rather than sticky. The heart pulls in cedarwood, patchouli, and a refined jasmine. Cedarwood is the most prominent and provides the woody backbone that the Hacivat blueprint carries through to the dry-down. Patchouli adds the earthy mystery that the original is celebrated for and the jasmine softens the floral interplay. The base is oakmoss and woody notes, with the oakmoss doing the heavy lifting to deliver the chypre identity that Hacivat is built around. The oakmoss here is gentler than on the Nishane original, which is partly the limited-batch UK-handmade production style and partly a deliberate softening for daily wear. Projection is moderate for the first two hours and the wear stretches to six on skin. In the dupe-house landscape it sits alongside Dua Brand Ottoman Breeze and Maison Alhambra interpretations of Hacivat-adjacent chypres, with 8th Wonder reading the lightest of the three but the most legibly handmade-niche in presentation.
