Coast of Azuura is the Rogue Perfumes reading of Tom Ford Costa Azzurra from its Dubai Collection Exclusive line, opening with the lemon and mandarin pairing that delivers the bright Mediterranean signature of the original. Lavender threads a soft aromatic note through the citrus opening and the perfume reads sun-on-rocks fresh. The heart pulls in cypress, cardamom, and myrtle. Cypress is the most prominent and gives the heart phase the dry woody backbone that the Costa Azzurra blueprint is built around. Cardamom adds the spicy aromatic lift and myrtle reinforces the Mediterranean herbal identity. This phase is where the dupe runs closest to the Tom Ford reference. The base runs on oud, incense, and musk. The oud is restrained rather than the typical Arabian-heavy reading and the incense gives the dry-down a refined sacred-resinous finish.
