Sixteen92 Sarah Good is a Parfum launched in 2016, created by Claire Baxter. Sixteen92's Sarah Good carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Fresh-baked bread against charred maple leaves, black pitch and chimney smoke, with a flash of orange. Sarah Good is a melancholy autumn gourmand: the bread is the point, and it divides noses.

Showing: Overall Blend

Top, heart and base are the pyramid as published, not a timing claim. Each note's timing follows its listed tier, where it usually sits across many published pyramids (from ScentPrism) and its vapour pressure. A note comes through as the notes usually listed before it fade, judged from how other pyramids order the same pair. The thickness of a ribbon shows the note's share of what is left on the skin, which tracks how strongly it smells, because odour thresholds rise with vapour pressure. The shares come from how prominent wearers vote each note. It is a simple model, not a measurement.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Autumn Winter

Maple leaves, bread and smoke make it a fall scent first and a winter one second. The smoky gourmand note would be heavy in summer.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual

Expressive and casual, it is subtle enough for some offices. It is a poor fit for sport and could feel unusual at a formal event.

About

Sarah Good first appeared in Sixteen92's 2016 Salem collection and returns in the Autumn 2026 Legacy release, in sample, travel and 30 ml Parfum sizes. The brand calls it a melancholy, smoky atmospheric with gourmand nuances, built from charred maple leaves, black pitch, fresh-baked bread, dried black tea leaves, sweet orange and chimney smoke. Bread sits at the centre. To many noses it is warm, realistic and pleasantly crusty, set against smoke, leaves and a darker, pitch-like background. To others it turns starchy or too sweet, like a sugary bun. Orange lifts the start a little, and the autumn leaves and smoke become clearer as the hours go by. The overall picture falls somewhere between a bakery and a damp, shadowy fall afternoon, with resin and tea adding some depth. Strength, reach and staying power are all middling, so it hangs around without crowding you. It is a scent for autumn above all, with winter as a second home, and it suits casual wear, with a quiet enough presence for some people to wear it to work. It is unusual enough to feel odd at a formal event, and it has no place at the gym.
