No. 700 takes its cue from Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, opening with a fruity pear and brown sugar burst before a gardenia-jasmine floral heart, finishing on a soft musk-sugar base. It captures the cheerful, opulent white-floral character reasonably well, but the interpretation is sweeter and more straightforward than the original, which uses red berries and pear blossom for a more delicate, layered lift into the gardenia. Here the sugar and gardenia sit more upfront, making for an easy, likeable but less nuanced scent. Performance is moderate, offering a few hours of joyful, sweet floral presence well suited to spring and summer daytime wear, at a fraction of the designer price.
