The base amplifies vetiver and cedarwood for a heavier, more persistent woody impression that suits cold-weather wear. Where it falls short of the real Terre d'Hermes Parfum is complexity: the original's prized flinty, mineral facet and its more layered resinous dry-down are simplified here into a straightforward ambery woods accord. Performance is solid for an affordable oil-based fragrance, holding on the skin for several hours before fading gently rather than lingering the way the genuine Parfum concentration does.
