The Fragrance World UK Addicted is an Eau de Parfum. Addicted opens with Mandarin Leaf, settles into a heart of Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Vanilla. The Fragrance World UK's Addicted carries a Statement verdict, a white floral-led wear.

Addicted matches Dior Addict's minimalist jasmine-vanilla structure closely at the opening, but the sambac reads thinner and less narcotic once the mandarin leaf top burns off, and the vanilla settles faster than the designer's dense bourbon base.

About

Dior Addict's 2014 reformulation is famously a three-note pyramid, and Addicted follows the same blueprint: bright mandarin leaf up top, a dense jasmine sambac heart, and a bourbon vanilla base. The first twenty minutes are a genuinely close match, with the same warm, slightly narcotic jasmine that made the Charlize Theron-era campaigns so recognisable. The gap opens in the heart-to-base transition. Dior Addict's jasmine sambac is dense and almost syrupy, carrying that quality for hours before the vanilla fully takes over; Addicted's jasmine reads flatter and thinner, and the vanilla base arrives earlier and settles into a simpler sweet skin scent rather than the designer's dense, slightly boozy warmth. Projection is soft from the first spritz rather than building. For the price it captures the jasmine-vanilla mood well enough for an evening out, but it wears closer to the original's dry-down than its opening hour, and fades a good deal sooner.
