The Fragrance World UK Halo Nova is an Eau de Parfum. Halo Nova opens with Raspberry and Litchi, settles into a heart of Rose, and dries down to a base of Akigalawood and Benzoin. The Fragrance World UK's Halo Nova carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Halo Nova reproduces Mugler Angel Nova's raspberry-rose twist on the Angel DNA convincingly at the top, but the akigalawood-benzoin base is softer and fades sooner than the original's dense, long-wearing dry-down.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Also Works:
Spring Fall

The bright raspberry-rose combination suits mild spring and autumn weather, avoiding the heaviness of the original's dense base in summer heat.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual

A bright, confident fruity-rose that works well for casual wear and dates; less suited to formal settings without the original's projection.

About

Mugler's Angel Nova reimagined the house's iconic 1992 Angel with a brighter raspberry-rose direction, and Halo Nova follows that same recipe: raspberry and lychee open bright and juicy, a rich Damascus rose carries the heart, and akigalawood with benzoin settle the base. The opening is a close match, fruity and rosy in exactly the way that separated Nova from the original praline-patchouli Angel. The gap shows up over time. Angel Nova's akigalawood-benzoin base builds a dense, woody-ambery warmth that lasts most of a day; Halo Nova's version is softer and thinner, settling into a lighter rose-musk finish within a few hours rather than holding that signature Mugler density. Projection follows a similar arc, starting strong before dropping to a close skin scent. It's a fair way to try the raspberry-rose Angel variation on a budget, but expect noticeably less staying power than the designer fragrance it's inspired by.
