The Parfum Hub Beijing 88 is an Eau de Parfum. Beijing 88 opens with Citron, Bergamot, and Orange, settles into a heart of Neroli, Cinnamon, and Ginger, and dries down to a base of Black Tea, Guaiac Wood, Ambroxan, and Frankincense. The Parfum Hub's Beijing 88 carries a Statement verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Beijing 88 borrows Louis Vuitton Imagination's citrus-ginger-black tea structure faithfully, though the ambroxan base sits flatter and the elegant black tea note fades faster than the original's signature dry drydown.

About

Beijing 88 is The Parfum Hub's version of Louis Vuitton Imagination (2021), Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud's citrus-aromatic release built around an unusual black tea accord. The dupe follows the same route: citron, bergamot and Sicilian orange open bright and zesty, Nigerian ginger and neroli bring a spiced aromatic lift into the heart, and Chinese black tea, ambroxan, olibanum and guaiac wood settle into the base. The citrus-ginger opening is convincing and the closest thing to the original in the first hour. The black tea note - the feature that sets Imagination apart from every other fresh masculine on the market - is present but noticeably lighter, and without the original's ambroxan-driven longevity it settles to a faint skin scent well before the six-to-eight-hour mark most Imagination wearers report. Still, a fair-priced way to sample the citrus-tea-amber idea before committing to the designer price tag.
