The Parfum Hub Bucharest 21 is an Eau de Parfum. Bucharest 21 opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Pepper, and Juniper, settles into a heart of Pine, Iris, and Incense, and dries down to a base of Amber, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. The Parfum Hub's Bucharest 21 carries a Statement verdict, a musk-led wear.

Bucharest 21 keeps the forest-floor pine and incense heart that makes Byredo Gypsy Water so distinctive, but the intimate, close-to-skin quality reviewers love in the original becomes even fainter here.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Spring Fall

Fresh woody-aromatic composition works across spring and autumn, less suited to peak summer or deep winter.

Understated and clean enough for office and casual wear, too quiet for formal occasions.

About

Bucharest 21 is The Parfum Hub's dupe of Byredo Gypsy Water (2008), a fresh-woody-aromatic release inspired by the free spirit of bohemian travel. The pyramid follows the original closely: bergamot, juniper, lemon and pepper open crisp and sharp, pine needles, incense and orris root carry a forest-floor heart, and vanilla, sandalwood and amber close on a warm, sweet base. The juniper-pine-incense combination is the part of Gypsy Water most people remember, and this dupe delivers a recognisable version of that crisp, evergreen-forest character. Gypsy Water was never designed to project loudly - genuine reviews describe it as an intimate scent bubble rather than a room-filler, with moderate six-hour longevity at best and some wearers reporting closer to three - and this version leans even further into that quiet, close-to-skin territory, needing a reapplication if you want it to last the whole day. A calm, woody-aromatic option for anyone drawn to Gypsy Water's low-key, outdoorsy character.
