The Parfum Hub Oud Marrakech is an Extrait de Parfum. Oud Marrakech opens with Rose, Saffron, and Passionfruit, settles into a heart of Oud, Patchouli, and Benzoin, and dries down to a base of Akigalawood, Leather, and Labdanum. The Parfum Hub's Oud Marrakech carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Oud Marrakech captures Maison Crivelli's unusual passionfruit-oud pairing well up top, but the leather and akigalawood depth that gives the original its bonfire-like smokiness is softened considerably.

About

Oud Marrakech takes on Maison Crivelli's Oud Maracuja, a niche release built on the unlikely pairing of tropical passionfruit and dark, medicinal oud. The opening is where this dupe shines - the passionfruit explodes with the same bright, tangy sweetness against saffron and Turkish rose, capturing that attention-grabbing fruity-oud contrast the original is celebrated for. As it develops, the gap widens: Maison Crivelli's oud has a smoky, almost bonfire-like intensity that wraps around the fruit for hours, and Oud Marrakech's Indonesian patchouli and benzoin heart is softer, trading some of that smoky edge for a rounder, sweeter warmth. The leather and akigalawood base is present but more restrained than the original's bold, room-filling drydown. Being an extrait, it does perform respectably for its price point, holding the fruity-oud character for a good stretch before fading into a soft amber-vanilla skin scent. A worthwhile way to sample the passionfruit-oud idea, though it trades some of the original's daring intensity for easier everyday wearability.
