The Parfum Hub Tokyo 127 is an Eau de Parfum. Tokyo 127 opens with Bergamot, Grapefruit, and Ginger, settles into a heart of Geranium, Rosemary, and Sage, and dries down to a base of Amber, Ambroxan, and Labdanum. The Parfum Hub's Tokyo 127 carries a Statement verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Tokyo 127 recreates the grapefruit-ginger-sage opening of Louis Vuitton L'Immensité well, but the ambroxan-labdanum base thins out much sooner than the original's marine-mossy drydown.

About

Tokyo 127 is The Parfum Hub's dupe of Louis Vuitton L'Immensité (2018), Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud's citrus-aromatic release that channels the salty, mossy character of classic masculine colognes through a modern ambroxan lens. The notes follow the same path: grapefruit, ginger and bergamot open crisp and zesty, sage, rosemary and geranium bring an aromatic-herbal heart, and ambroxan, amber and labdanum settle into a warm, slightly salty base. The citrus-ginger opening is a fair likeness and the herbal sage-rosemary heart carries the same clean, classic-masculine feel the original is known for. What's missing is the depth of L'Immensité's ambroxan-labdanum base, which reviewers describe as giving a damp, mossy, gray-musk quality reminiscent of yesteryear classics - here that base is present but noticeably lighter and fades faster, settling to a faint citrus-musk within a few hours. A clean, wearable everyday citrus for anyone drawn to L'Immensité's fresh-aromatic opening.
