The heart moves into a mossy, woody register with cedar and oakmoss, tempered by a streak of vanilla, before the base settles into a warm caramel-ambergris-musk finish. The combination of fruity top notes with a mossy-woody heart and gourmand caramel base gives Al Kiswah more contrast than a typical single-note oil - it reads sweet and fruity up close, then dries down warmer and more resinous. As with the rest of the house's oil range, projection stays close to the skin and longevity depends on reapplication, but the caramel-ambergris base helps it linger better than the lighter fruity oils in the lineup.
