L'Air du Temps
Eau de Toilette
Nina Ricci
Documented works suggest a focus on elegant florals with a pronounced spicy-carnation facet, as in Nina Ricci L’Air du Temps, and refined aldehydic and floral structures such as Givenchy L’Interdit and Balenciaga Le Dix.
Francis Fabron was a French perfumer active in the mid-20th century. He composed Nina Ricci L’Air du Temps, launched in 1948, a floral fragrance noted for its spicy carnation heart and for being housed in a René Lalique-designed bottle whose twin doves symbolised post-war peace. Fabron also created Givenchy L’Interdit (1957), originally released for the fashion house of Hubert de Givenchy, and is credited with Balenciaga Le Dix and Monsieur de Givenchy, as well as work for Robert Piguet, placing him among the key authors of post‑World War II French perfumery.
