A British family-rooted house of gardenia, green and citrus eaux de parfum, bought direct to source

About Connock

Connock England is a British fragrance and beauty house founded by Amanda Connock in 2012. The house describes itself as made in the UK and cruelty free. Its range is led by five eaux de parfum, with home fragrance, bath and body and gift sets built around the same scents.

The house grows out of a family business. Connock's parents set up A & E Connock, which supplies fragrance and cosmetic ingredients to global brands, and the family firm still runs. Growing up in that world gave her a working knowledge of raw materials, and the brand follows a direct to source approach, buying from suppliers without a middleman. In 2024 she partnered with the hospitality group Chestnut to bring the range into distinctive properties in East Anglia.

The signature scent is Kukui, a warm and exotic gardenia perfume with Italian bergamot, jasmine and sandalwood, first sold in 2013. Kukui Noir is a deeper evening version. Verdant is a green, fresh scent of galbanum, blackcurrant, fig and eucalyptus over English blooms, sandalwood and amber, and is meant to bring the range back to the English countryside. Pelago is a sunny Mediterranean citrus with neroli, petitgrain, amber and vetiver. Montaire, the newest, is an alpine mix of crisp aromatics, soft florals and warm woods.

Connock England sits between independent perfumery and hotel-grade body care: well made, easy to wear scents sold through its own website, hotels and selected stockists. It suits wearers who like clear floral, green and citrus perfumes with a story of place, and buyers who want a matching home or bath range.

Brand Evolution

Amanda Connock founded the house in 2012 and Kukui followed in 2013. Kukui Noir came in 2020 and Verdant brought a green English theme. Pelago and Montaire have joined since, and a partnership with Chestnut began in 2024.
